Blanket Packages & Bracelets for Children, Fleece Blankets & Care Packages
Organized by Sydney White
I started making care packages for children with chronic/serious illnesses over half a year ago. Inside my packages is a handmade fleece blanket and a variety of toys and activities. Recently I have started ordering rubber wristbands called 'Bracelets of Bravery' that I can mail to children separately or inside of their care package. I run an Instagram (@goldribbonawareness) which spreads awareness about childhood cancer, and explains about my program. So far I have sent about 15 blankets & 10 care packages to children in hospitals all around the country and currently have about 20 applications that I am working on.
